| Going fish fish, fish fishin'.... |
[15 May 2005|10:20pm] |
|
Yeah so today Emily, Ryan, and I went fishing. I caught two fish! One completely swallowed the hook and Ryan had to rip it out of its throat. That was a good time. He caught three fish and Emily caught a turtle. The turtle let itself off the line and ran back into the water as Emily poked at it. She also used my fish as a pinata. Crazy bitch. :P That was a fun morning.
Afterwards we went back to Emily's and watched all of our old movies. I used to have really bad eyebrows. Why did no one ever tell me this? Bastards. But it's always fun to watch those movies over again. We were ridiculous back in the day.
I had to be home for 4 to watch the demonspawn, so Ryan brought me home and we hung out for a little while. After he left I took a nap, because I am the nap-taking kind. I didn't do any of my homework, and I don't plan on it. Fuck school man. It's such bullshit. I hate it. I end up ranting about school in every post, but I really do just wish I was done with it. Grrwarr.
Check out this thing. It's almost completely opposite to my actual personality. Damn bullshit online quizzes. Though the nervous tension thing is pretty spot-on.
Your Birthdate: September 29 |
Your birthday on the 29th adds a tone of idealism to your nature.
You are imaginative and creative, but rather uncomfortable in the business world.
You are very aware and sensitive, with outstanding intuitive skills and analytical abilities.
The 29 reduces to 11, one of the master numbers which often produces much nervous tension.
This is the birthday of the dreamer rather than the doer.
You do, however, work very well with people. |

Yeah so AP Chem sucked hard. That test ripped me apart. But now chem is over for the year and it's a study. So I can leave early when we have that last, plus people are bringing in food every day. Sweet deal, for a year of pain and suffering.
On Wednesday I actually cooked. Well, I made raviolis, warmed up some sauce, and did those Pillsbury biscuits that you just roll out of the canister. But it was still cooking. Even though Joe did feel sick after... wasn' from the food, I swear. :X We went to Curtis's later that night, where he and Joe played God of War for like, 3 hours. That was...exciting? I think not.
Yesterday I went to Joe's and we watched Kill Bill. It was the first time I'd seen it. Good shit. I want to watch Volume II sometime soon. We ate dinner over there, then went to Walmart with Curtis and Nylah to try and find material for Jedi costumes. We hung out at Nylah's afterwards and had Curtis chew on random objects. The only thing he wouldn't chew on was Joe's shoe, but that's understandable.
Today was senior skip day, but I didn't go to school either. God knows how many absences I'm up to now... but oh well. Joe, Curtis, and I went to JoAnn's Fabrics so they could get material for their costumes, but it was too expensive. So we went to the Wrentham outlets and walked around. We ate lunch at Le Gourmet Chef by going around to all the free samples a number of times. Then we got some candy, went to Gamestop, picked up Nylah, and went back Curtis's. Curtis left for a job interview and brought Nylah home, but when he came back, he and Joe played an X-men video game for a grand total of 6 hours. I wanted to kill myself. I slept, ate, and played a gameboy to try and pass the time. If they do that again, I'm walking home.
Tonight the three of us went to see Kingdom of Heaven. I thought it was pretty good. Orlando's acting wasn't half bad, though he still seems to have, at most, 2 facial expressions. I think he looks better all dark-haired and tanned than fair and flaxen Legolas. Though the pointy ears make it a close call. I'd recommend that movie to anyone who liked such films as Gladiator, Braveheart, Troy, King Arthur, or Lord of the Rings (mainly the battle aspects of that...the seige warfare and such).
Well, off to bed. Meeting at work in the morning. Ew.

I update my LJ. Despite the fact that I have nothing to say...
AP Chem exam tomorrow. askdljglskdhgds Scary shit right there. I am completely unconfident. Tomorrow is going suck more than any day has ever sucked before.
This weekend I worked Saturday and Sunday 12-5. Not too many hours, but it seems damn long. Though I did get to borrow Mike's SNES, so that made the weekened 3246723486X better. <3 Zombies Ate My Neighbors brings back happy childhood memories. Ah, good times with my old SNES. I wish I still had it. What kind of drug was I on when I sold that thing?
Yeah so anyone want to donate money to the Relay for Life? It's in like, less than two weeks and I have no money. I'm going to be scrambling around that day, scrounging for money like I do every year. Why do I ALWAYS procrastinate with EVERYTHING? Example: I had about 2 school days and a whole weekend to do an English essay that was due today. When did I do it? 6am this morning. Yeah, and I wonder why my grades suck more than a 2 cent whore. Physics = F. Precal = F. *sigh* Is it bad that I don't even want to bother with school anymore? Is it bad that I realized all school does is stress me out and I'd rather just do my own thing? Probably, but I'm sick of being so fucking stressed out.
In better news: I am currently eating CoolWhip out of the container. It's tasty and fluffy. Is it pathetic that I don't even bother to dip fruit or anything in it? Mreh. It's damn delicious. Yet I can feel my stomach expanding.
It's time to go watch some Full House. Have a splendid day.

Let me just start off with Family Guy = great. Good stuff.
Monday was my AP English Language exam. It actually wasn't bad. I think I did well, especially on the essays. I went home and slept for quite some time. I don't remember what I did the rest of the day. Maybe played hacky sack. I know one of the days this week I played hacky sack at the common with Joe, Curtis, and this kid Joe works with. I'm getting better. Woo.
On Tuesday I went home sick. My mom made me go to the doctor. I'm getting a prescription for migraine medicine. That night, Joe and I went to Curtis's, where we watched the absolute worst movie ever made. S.I.C.K - Serial Insane Clown Killer. Now, it's not about a guy who goes around killing clowns, like the title would suggest. But instead it is the worst B movie ever made. The acting is horrendous and the plot doesn't even make sense half the time. We laughed hysterically at most of the parts that were supposed to be scary. If you ever need a good laugh, rent that movie. It's ridiculous.
Wednesday was a failure of a physics quiz and other school nonsense. I got a light bulb for my rear blinker and Curtis put it in for me, so now that works. We went to Buddha's Bazaar- that was... interesting. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's basically a porn/sex toy store. Curtis bought a Zippo lighter, which was probably the most normal thing there. They have some of the most fucked up pornos I've ever seen. *shudder* We picked up Lord of the Rings RISK from my house and played that at Curtis's, while watching S.I.C.K. again. Lord only knows why we watched that twice.
Yesterday Joe and Tav came over and we studied for the AP US History exam. Well, we studied for like a half an hour or so. And ate some delicious mango. Tav made three boxes of Mac & Cheese, which was good. We watched Almost Famous and avoided and further studying. Mreh, who needs studying anyway?
Today was the AP US exam, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm iffy on how I did on the multiple choice, but then again I'm always iffy about that. The essays were fine though. I beasted all over that DBQ. My hand is about to fall off though. My DBQ was almost four pages long, and the other two were both two pages. Oi. Afterwards Joe, Tav, and I took my car, picked up Curtis, and went to Taco Bell. Tav went home, Joe and Curtis went to Joe's to pack and I went and watched tv at Curtis's for a little while till the two of them showed up. I just got home- they went with Curtis's mom to Niagra Falls for Curtis's birthday. I'm probably going to take a nap now. Or wait till my mom gets home and ask if I can get my babysitting money early. I'm taking Mike to get a present for his mom, then I need to buy a Mothers' Day gift, Emily's birthday present, Sue's birthday present, and get gas. Plus I want a Black Sabbath CD. We'll see how that works out with only 40$.
BY THE WAY: LOST = AWESOME. Sayiiiiid < 3 < 3

So boring. Bleh. But at least I'm making money, right? They took forever to get to my register yesterday. They closed out people who got there after I did first. I was pissed. I hate waiting around there doing nothing. Oh well, extra half hour of pay. Money money money money.... I need a light bulb for my rear blinker, and possibly new front tires. They squeal whenever I make a turn even a little too sharply. Stupid crap tires.
So Hitchhiker's Guide was good, though I haven't read the books so I can't really judge completely. Joe and Curtis made Nylah and I bring towels. Before Nylah came, we played hacky sack with some random kids out in front of the Gap. I won, but only because Joe always lets me win when it comes down to a hack off. Even when I tell him not to let me win. Someday I might actually be able to play and win by my own accord. Maybe.
Yesterday I had work from 12-5. Not too exciting. Then again, it never is. I took a nap when I got home, then went to Curtis's house around 9:00. Joe, Tav, and Nylah were all there and watching the first Batman movie. We watched the first and second one. We also had cake because today is Curtis's 18th birthday. Tav had to leave so Joe and I brought him home, then returned with some movies from my house- Akira and Fear & Loathing. We watched some of Akira, then Fear & Loathing. I love that movie. I don't think we ended up going to sleep until about 5 am or so. I'm extremely tired at the moment. And I have to leave in like 35 minutes.
BUT ONTO BETTER THINGS: NEW FAMILY GUY TONIGHT! WOO! Can't wait. I hope it's good. I've been itching for a new Family Guy for years. That's probably the only thing that will keep me going through work. I know it's only five hours, but time goes by SO SLOW there, like you wouldn't believe. It's like the goddamn Palace of the Prophets. (insert random Sword of Truth reference...) But alas, I must go put on my face so I don't look like hell.
EDIT: Bwaha, I don't know how I almost forgot. At Curtis's, him, Joe and Tav took turns trying on me and Nylah's jeans. Needless to say, that was one of the funniest things ever. I wish I had pictures. Nylah has some on her phone.

Hm, you know how I get to see movies for free now? Well, I've seen three so far. And I've only worked two weekends.
1. Joe and I saw Robots before April vacation.
2. Joe, Curtis, and I saw Amityville Horror with some other random people last weekend. That wasn't actually as scary as I thought it would be. Though I did jump my fair share of times.
3. Joe, Curtis, Tav, and I saw Kung Fu Hustle on Tuesday night. I think it was Tuesday, anyway. But that was a good movie. It was crazy weird, but it was hilarious.
We also plan to go see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy tomorrow, so that will be movie number 4. Think they'll yell at me? Mreh. They should have known what they were getting themselves into when they hired me. We got our STAR WARS tickets too, but had to pay for those ones. Midnight showing. Joe and Curtis have a lightsaber battle all staged out. That should be a good time.
If anyone is into kung fu movies, I strongly recommened Crippled Masters. One guy has no arms, and the other has no legs. The guy with no arms has a crazy fucking nub that he can pick shit up with. It's awesome. We watched it at Curtis's house last night. And I got a bullseye when we played darts. Yeah, I'm awesome.
I need to do homework now. Bah. It's been a long time since I've actually done work at home.

I rarely update anymore. My life is dull. But here it is, nonetheless.
Sunday night Joe and I played hacky sack at the common with Tav and Curtis again. Nylah and Frank came this time. That was fun, even though I still suck at it. On Monday I had my orientation at Regal, and I start working this weekend. Joy. I had SAT prep as well. I got 12/12 on my practice essay. I'm amazing at bullshitting essays. That part of the SAT should be a breeze. Fuck math, bring on the writing. I have to register for that shit soon. Blergh. After SAT class, I was going to go home, but I decided to stop by the common. Lo and behold, Joe was parked there playing PSP. Call it a woman's intution. We hung out at my house for a little while, then he went home. Tuesday the boys had a lacrosse game. Joe couldn't play because he bruised his arm from the last game. They lost. Again. But oh well. I had a vanilla chai latte and that was really good. After the game, Joe and I used my new-found connections at the movie theater to go see Robots for free. That was a cute movie. We hung out at Newbury Comics with Curtis for a while, then went back to my house. We watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. And talked about him leaving for France for vacation. =( Yesterday I went over his house around 4. We went to get him some last minute stuff for his trip, then hung out with some people for a little while. We went back to his house for dinner, then to Curtis' house to pick him up. We went to Gamestop in Woonsocket and played hacky sack in the parking lot for a little while. Afterwards we picked up Tav and played some more hacky sack at the commmon. Before dropping Curtis and Tav back off, we drove around listening to some Zeppelin, complete with the three of them headbanging in the Stop and Shop parking lot. Joe and I came back here for a little while. It finally started to sink in that he was going to be leaving for almost two weeks. Saying goodbye is not fun. =( Today I didn't think I would get to see him before he left, but their bus was late. So I hung out with him until that came. I never usually get so emotional. It's only 10 days, but it seems like forever. I just hope April vacation goes by quickly. And I never thought I'd hear myself saying that!
Oh yeah, and I called it. Guidance is already fucking me over. I might just end up taking French I if they screw me on Latin. Bastards.

Joe and I went to play hacky sack at the common with Tav and Curtis a little after 10. I suck at it really bad. But that's to be expected from someone with absolutely no coordination. But it was a fun time. Too bad once I pulled out the Big League Chew gum it got ravaged and devoured within seconds. :P
The boys lost their lacrosse game (again) this morning. Too bad. They got two goals though. That's one more than last time, and two more than the first two games. They're improving! Hah, maybe they'll eventually get a win? Only time will tell.
Too lazy for more update-ness.

Alysha got a job? What? Yes, yes- it's true. I start this weekend at Regal Cinema. Pretty amazing eh? I don't even care what the flip I have to do because....I GET TO SEE MOVIES FOR FREE! <333 That's a sweet fuckin' deal right there. Do you know how often I go to the movies? Sheesh. This is going to be nice. Hopefully I don't suck it up my first day and get fired. That wouldn't be nice. Expected, but not nice.
So I'm really bored right now, because I've actually done my homework. Except for some AP chem, because I forget what it is. Oh well, it's still a start. I did my precal on my own. It's totally wrong, but it's the thought that counts. I have a test tomorrow that is going to completely destroy me. At least it counts for fourth quarter. Not that it would matter, since my third quarter grade can't be anything more than a C. Stupid effing math. I hate it sosososo much. Thank Jesus I don't have to take it next year.
So this is my (tenative) schedule for next year. God knows guidance is going to screw it up somehow. They should let Devlin run the whole thing; he wouldn't be a complete fuckwit like the rest of them.
-AP Biology -AP European History (<3) -AP Spanish -AP English Literature -Latin I -Science Fiction (1/2 year) -Gym/Health (Bleh. Wish it wasn't required.)
Yeah so that should be fun. Or suicide-inducing. *shrug* Either one.
Oh yeah- new LOST on tonight. I can't wait to see what happens with ( ... )

I saw Sin City last night with Joe, Tav, Curtis, Nylah, and Tav's girlfriend who I forget the name of at the moment. It was really good. I don't feel like describing it or cutting for spoilers or anything, so just trust me. It's good shit.
